One big gripe!

My son has a new teacher that replaced his former one-that we miss terribly!! His former teacher left to persue a new job. His new teacher has assigned so much homework it is unreal. Like I want to spend over an hour at night some nights just trying to help him with his homework. (AND I AM GOING TO SCHOOL TO TEACH!) Anyway today he brings Math homework home--and y'all know how much I LOVE math. OMGosh. He has no clue how to do it. I asked Brady, "Did she explain any of this to your class?" He says, "No" "She told us to look over the pages and do the problems and if we have questions she will help us." So now I am getting really upset. Are we expected to teach the lessons to our kids at home? He told me last week he had a question and she never even got over to him to answer it. How are they supposed to learn? He has been so positive in school until now. He acts like he doesn't care as much as he used to. And he's a straight A student!! I guess I will have to work extra hard with him this year and make sure he gets everything done and turned in. AAAHHH!!!!!
Like I have anything else to do on bedrest or should I say house arrest.

Stuff

Well we had our Animal Welfare Society meeting Tues night. I stepped down as president and now we have a spunky new one. Hope everything works out ok, there have already been disagreements at the meeting and that was only 5 min as her being pres. Oboy!! I just don't have time to do it all right now. We have the baby coming and I am still on the board for AWS.

I am also still PTO sec. for this year. Brady will be in the BIG WRMS middle school next year. I still think WRJH looks better than WRMS--reminds me of worms. uck. This is my last year of PTO officer duty. My last year of home room mom. It is very sad, my little boy is growing up!! .......... Until Trey gets in school..........and I get to relive it all over again! Yay!!

Got to go get ready for Thanksgiving at my parents house, then off to Quapaw to my grandparents house. I kinda wish they weren't on the same day it would be so much easier for me. Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving!!!

Tony WON the Nextel Cup!!!

He came in 15th place in the race, but 1st in points for the Cup! YAY!! Just thought I would let whoever reads my wonderful, interesting, informative blog know! LOL!

Today is the day Tony races for the cup! For the ones that don't know who he is I attached a pic for you viewing pleasure. :) He's just such a hottie! LOL (OK Alyssa, stop laughing at me) He only has to finish 9th or higher to win. He starts in 20th place today---but he'll be up there!!!!! The race starts at 3pm!! Whiney Wednesday

*I am so having Wal*Mart withdrawals! I haven't been there since Monday, October 24! ( Yes I remember the exact date.) The day before they admitted me to the hospital and put me on bedrest.

*My doctor told me today that the only way I can go to Wal*Mart is to be pushed in a wheelchair or ride one of those scooter things. Oh Ya! People would be looking at me thinking--look at that fat girl she's too lazy to walk. I don't think so.

*If I make it to 36 weeks--which will be Feb.3, I can deliver Trey here in Miami. If he comes earlier he will have to be born in Tulsa. Which gives me the fear that I would have to be flown once again in the wonderful helicopter.

*I think I will take it easy and try to keep him in until Feb 3rd!!!!!!!!!!

*When I have my c-section, I will also have my stitches out and tubes tied!!

*I have no Christmas shopping done at all. I will have to make a list for Mr. Bradys-mom or have him take me very late at night where I won't see anyone. Hey, thats an idea.........

*I am going to see the new Harry Potter movie this coming weekend. I asked and I can be dropped off at the door-go straight to my seat-and right back to the car. At least I will be able to go somewhere! Yea! (Really not a whine) :)

*Days of Our Lives is really pissing me off with the Marlena storyline. Ok-enoughs enough. Who in the heck is this guy???

*We have caught two mice in our house this month.

They tore down the Speedaway

I didn't know if anyone noticed today, but they tore down the Speedaway. I think it was called that...... the little station by Sonic that they used to come out and pump your gas for you. I thought it was so cute and vintage looking. Now it is GONE! Very sad!! You can tell I haven't been out much lately. I didn't even know until a couple of days ago that our bank was completely gone. But they are building a new one.
I am gonna go watch Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants now with my son. He doesn't have school tomorrow and I plan on sleeping late, very late in the morning.

I have too much to do!

Here I sit doing nothing!
I did stick addresses, fold, stuff, stamp and put return addresses on over 100 newsletters and envelopes for AWS last night though. Time to pay dues for the year! :)
*We turned our air conditioner on today. I couldn't take it anymore. I can't believe running the air in November??!
*I have so much to do! My house is in dire need of decluttering, I figure I can sit on the floor and declutter still staying on semi-bedrest.
*Our dryer decided to smell like burning something or other a couple of days ago. I just love hanging clothes up to dry-nice and crunchy socks, ya thats what I like. Yes, I am being sarcastic. for the ones that don't know the real me. :) Hopefully we can find one soon.
*I wish I could work right now, we need Christmas money! Brady will be getting a new bike, which he will have to keep put up in safe keeping, since his other one got stolen. The people across the street had nice new bikes--why didn't they get theirs? Brady was in need of a new one anyway but WHY steal my little boys bike? Ok, Ok. He also wants a small pool table. The older they get the harder they are to buy for. Boys don't usually want clothes for Christmas.
*3 months, 1 week and 6 days, until Trey will be here!! That is if he is born on Feb 21. I can't believe it is going by soooo fast. It is unreal.
*The new Harry Potter will be out next weekend! And yes I plan on going. It looks like it is going to be very very good.

Thats all for now, maybe more later. I had to go back and make some bullets. My post made no sense at all. ha

This is one of my arms that they tried to get IV's in last week. They finally got one in this arm, and tried a total of 6 times, 3 in each arm!! owie! And they finally got one in the other arm.

Last week I might have whined about being in the hospital, but I am so glad they caught my problem when they did and I ended up in the hospital. I had my surgery last Wednesday. My doctor appt. today went good and baby looks good so I am very, very thankful!!!!!!!!!!!! Here is a pic of Trey's 21 week ultrasound. This was from a couple of weeks ago. He is almost 23 weeks now. Isn't he a cutie??? :)
No whining here today! Now, tomorrow I will have a HNT I could very well whine about. Wait and see.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!
We decided that Mr. bradys-mom (LOL) will be taking Brady to boo-ha-ha and to get his pic taken tonite downtown and then they will be picking me up and I will get to ride around in the car while we follow Brady trick or treating. I will still get to go even though I can't walk around!! I can't miss Halloween!! I already have to miss the party at school and all the fun stuff. This is my favorite time of year!

I'm back

Just thought I would fill you all in on whats been going on. Tuesday I went for my simple ultrasound and ended up taking a helicopter ride to Tulsa to be admitted to Hillcrest Med. Center. I had to have a cerclage done because my cervix is incompetent, and I was dilated to 1 cm. I had that surgery done on Wednesday around 4 pm. I finally got to come home yesterday. Let me tell ya I am so glad to be home in my own bed. I'm going to go rest now, I will try to write more later.

I'm Bummed!

I find out yesterday that Tony Stewart is going to be at the Bass Pro Shop opening in Broken Arrow tomorrow!!!!!!!! You can only get in to see him and get an autograph if you have an invitation. I called the radio station yesterday to see how to get an invite. You have to get it over the radio. Ok, that sucks. Anyway we don't have enough gas money as it is.
I guess I will have to get our cousin to help us to get some Nascar tickets when they are up this way next. I wanted to meet him so bad!

We went to the arts and crafts in Arkansas this past Saturday. It was so hot! Alyssa and I were sweating to death!!! Our mom was looking at everything, and wasn't hot at all. There were also tons of people there. Next year we are going on a weekday and hopefully it will be cooler than 86 degrees in October!!!!!!!!!
We had a lot of fun though. I almost peed my pants 3 times laughing so hard with the baby pushing on my bladder. I kept those little blue buildings in my sight in case I had to make a run for it. Everyone had Alyssa doing the demonstrations. It was hilarious. Hey, Alyssa! You did a great job though!!!!!! Your meat turning demo was one of the times I had to run!! We were all so filthy, our feet were so dirty and we rode the golfcart back to moms SUV and dirt, dust and everything else was flying off of our clothes. We stopped by a pumpkin stand on the way home too and got some very good deals...

We finally got Dish yesterday. I really like it though I am still trying to get used to the channels. We have 3 months of movie channels for free. Can't beat that!

Thanks everyone for the "Congrats" we are very excited about having another little boy. Although my ten year old is getting a little smart mouth as of lately I believe he will be a big help to me when the baby gets here and be a wonderful big brother. I am so tired lately, if I even lay down on the couch I am out.
My mom, sister and I are going to Arkansas tomorrow to Bella Vista for the arts and crafts. It is our yearly outing and we have so much fun! I wish it was going to be cooler tomorrow though. Its supposed to be in the 80's but ya never know. Maybe I should watch some Arkansas weather instead of Okie weather tonite to make sure.
The Dish guy cancelled again. Now we will get Dish on Monday. :) Maybe our house will be a wee bit cleaner then. Well, I think we need to turn on the air, I'm having a hot flash or something it is so hot in here!
Oh Diva---I don't know about Trey Diva, I don't think my husband would go for that :) You'll probably need to have another one. LOL Diva Hoover, sounds good!

We're having a baby...............

I went to my new Dr. today which she is just wonderful!!! We found out we are having a baby.............................BOY! I'm excited! I didn't care which we were having but am so glad everything is going good. Just want a healthy baby. Brady is excited although I think that he had already psyched himself up for a baby sister, now he has to change gears to a baby boy. The ultrasound pics are so cute! I'll have to use my moms scanner and scan them, we only have a digital camera to post pics so I'll have to go over there. I go to do an u.s. at the hospital on the 25th to make sure of the due date-when they do the measuring again. So far my due date is March 2nd or 3rd. Which she said they will do a c-section the week before in February-----just not the leap day. LOL! I will keep you all posted! and scan those pics.
My inlaws will have 5 grandsons now!

Stress!

My house is a mess! The Dish guy will be here on Wednesday and I am trying to make some sense of our house. Ever since I started back to school it has really gotten out of hand. I need "Clean sweep" to come to my house. I have been doing laundry today--clothes that have already been washed but I know that have been sitting around and need it again. We are going to make a trip to the friendship house very soon. As soon as we get our stuff out of our room I am going to paint it and get it ready to be Brady's room. Then fix the baby's room. Ours will be last. I am just so ready to have a holiday at our house. Maybe Christmas??? not Thanksgiving. Alyssa we can have that at your house!! By the way my sister and brother in law have been remodeling their house, and it is beautiful!!! They are very talented. We didn't go to the fair this Sunday. My dad was getting back from Boston, he has been on a job since July and we wanted to spend the day with family. We will go next Sunday.
Also Tony got 2nd place yesterday in Nascar. Of course we didn't get to see the race thanks to CABLE ONE. thanks, cable one.
Guess I better go get busy cleaning.
