I am tired!

Hello once again, I feel like there is no time for anything anymore. Last week I thought I was going to TRY to be organized for Halloween so Brady and I went to the mall in Joplin to look for his costume. We bought half of it and then Steve was going to go the next day and get the rest while I was at work. He drove up there and they wouldn't take a check, and since I had the credit card with me at school it was pretty much a wasted trip. After a busy day in kindergarten, and when I say busy---my gosh those kids are busy!! 20 five year olds to keep entertained. I know if it were my own classroom it would be a lot different and I kept telling myself "they are five" but it just seems so young!! Ok-on with my story.......after school on Thursday I drove straight to Spencer's to get the rest of Brady's costume then dropped it off at home and drove to the school to help decorate for the Halloween dance we were having to raise money for the show choir to go to NYC over spring break. I drove home threw on some bunny ears and painted a nose and whiskers on my face and that was the extent of my 5min halloween costume. The dance was great, there were a lot of kids and we raised a lot of money for our trip.
Tomorrow Brady is leaving to go to Tulsa for all district choir and he is spending the night. We had to go buy some new dress shoes, shirt and tie since at our church we dress very casual and he never wears all of this. We finished a while ago packing and I believe he is all ready to go. I am glad he told me about this yesterday and not tomorrow morning on the way to school. LOL

One more thing.

Had to add one more thing..........

Time: 7:55am Friday morning---he has to be at school at 8:00am for athletics.

Place: Living room

What: My son telling me that "today" is picture day and he forgot to tell me.

You can guess the rest...........

Hello!

I know, I have been terrible about blogging since I haven't written anything since June!

Here is what has been going on............
Summer went by way too fast. I worked the bike run along with the Ted Nugent concert. Alice Cooper was the next concert, I have to say it was really good. Very weird, but in a cool way.

I started this year working again at the school, but decided to sub instead. I am enjoying it this year, but plan on sticking to elementary and not the middle or hs. When I sub at the elementary level I get to teach.

We had a yard sale this weekend and I am so glad it is over. It is a lot of work, but when you make money for stuff you don't need anymore that makes it worth it!!

We are planning on going to NYC with the show choir group over spring break. I can't wait!! I have never been and am looking forward to it.

I will let you know in the next post what we will be doing.

been a long time.

Welp, can't believe it has been so long since I have blogged. I have been reading, but not writing.
School is finally out--I had been working in the special needs classroom as a teacher's aide in one of our elementary schools. It was very challenging but I ended up really loving it. The first two weeks I thought, "What am I doing?" and almost quit, but I stayed in there and it all worked out good. I miss my little guy I worked with very much and hopefully I will see him in Church this next Sunday!! I am having withdrawals. :)

Brady is keeping busy already. He is on a baseball traveling team but haven't had a game in awhile due to our wonderful, unpredictable weather we have been having. You have heard all about in Diva's blogs.
During the tornado that pretty much blew away Picher----my aunt and uncle's house in Quapaw, Ok, completely blew away--no walls--nothing. My grandparents lost their house too. Luckily my aunt and uncle were in Tulsa at the time it hit and they were not at home. My grandparents live just across the pasture from them, not very far, and my other uncle got them out of the house just in time--they had just woke up from a nap and had no idea what was going on. They left and their windows blew out of their house, a tree uprooted and went through their kitchen and it blew their front porch off and the back roof, and their barn. They saw my aunt and uncles house blow away. I thank God that my uncle got them out!!!

Brady is doing MLT this summer again, which he loves! They are doing Seussical the Musical this summer. He wants to be a Wickersham brother.
He has church camp next week and I got talked into helping with the girls for a couple of days. I haven't been to camp since I was probably 14, so this will be very new to me. I just hope there is air conditioning, lots and lots of it, and hopefully they all won't mind a little snoring.........

Well I promise I will be a better blogger. I messed mine up a couple of days ago and erased my links and then I gave up. I fixed it today so maybe I can keep it going.
