AAAH Summmerrrrrr

Hello!
This has been a semirelaxing week. Brady's last day of school was on the 20th, but since then I have been so busy! I ushered at Showtime Boxing, Animal Welfare meeting, PTO meeting tonite(W/new principal) (which I have not met yet, and not too excited about meeting from what I have heard so far.) Baseball games almost twice a week plus practices. I so want to go to school this summer just for the fact that I will graduate in the fall. I want to get finished!!! I want some money!! Not that Oklahoma pays teachers what they need. Way far from what they deserve, believe me!!!!! If I graduate in the fall at least I can sub for the rest of the year and make something!! Brady also needs to take swimming lessons this summer. I keep putting it off and he MUST take them this summer. He can stay above water but I don't feel comfortable if he was out in the middle of over his head water that he could make it back to the side. Our pool has a new water slide so I know he will want to go alot this summer. Guess I will be doing my homework at the pool.
Ok, I was trying to put a picture in this email, but guess it posted on its own blog. Owell. I am still learning. I still can't figure out how to post other bloggers over on the side---the ones I read all the time! Gotta go take a shower since it is after 1:30! I am terrible, but when school starts I will be waking up at 5:30 so I am taking advantage of my time off now.

BREATHE!

Yes! Finals are totally, officially----OVER! Yea!
Son's science fair is----OVER! Garage Sale is----OVER! ...... Although, we are having another one in a couple of weeks so that me and mom can get some stuff together for it. Alyssa and Keith cleaned up real good! Big Moolah! They are remodeling their house that they bought here so they can now get their new floor for the kitchen. And move here faster. YEA!
I have 3 of my grades so far. Ed Psych-"A" Life science lab for teachers"A" and my dreaded math class, that I was so worried about, I pulled a wonderful "B" out of my butt somehow. My Art was probably a B, and Geography maybe a D?? Let ya know.
Brady's Science fair project that was turned in last Thursday, he got a Blue Ribbon, and a certificate for Outstanding Excellence. Very proud of him. He did all the typing for it himself, the only thing I really did was take some pictures, print the stuff out, and help him glue it to the board.
We stayed up until 1am Sat morn getting stuff ready for the big sale! We also were ready at 6:30 that same morning removing tarps, etc., because Friday night was very cold, rainy and windy. Sat was gorgeous!!! We closed down finally around 5:30pm?? People sporadically kept showing up with half our stuff already put away and started digging through the bins. owell. We are prepared for the next one.
Went to Buffalo Run with Steve last week and he won $400.00. I had a sreen of all 7's on the Jungle Juice machine and if I had been betting MAX bet I WOULD have won $6,400. but no, I only got like a measly 16.00. wooo hooo.
Later!

Our "Bells" Experience

Let me tell ya, yesterday was a loooooooong day!
It all started out getting to my son's 4th grade class at 8:00am. We left around 8:30ish, got on the bus on our hour and 1/2 drive to Tulsa. We got there and divided into our groups. Brady and his little group rode the bumper boats first thing. As soon as the got finished with them,
Brady's friend was standing on this "grate" on the sidewalk. The other end of it was sticking up out of the ground, Brady turns around to walk over toward me and trips over it. His knee and weight of his body (90lbs) falls onto his knee on the grate. It was not a pretty site. It started bleeding terribly and I thought oh great this is all he has been talking about for two weeks now was going to Bells. The first aid lady came and cleaned it and put neosporin and a big bandage on. We then sat there about an hour put another bandage on it, and went to lunch. It finally stopped bleeding some and he wanted to ride some rides. He rode and rode and 3o minutes before we were getting ready to leave, one of his friends came over and was screaming "Brady is throwing up everywhere" So I am thinking ok, a little yak what could that hurt. But OH NO, not my Brady, he had it all over the front of his shirt and on his shorts. Oh wonderful, what else could go wrong................except having nothing else for him to wear home. :O I took him into the womens restroom and had him take his clothes off, I didn't try to clean the shirt, but washed the front of his shorts off in the sink and tried to dry them with the hand dryer thing. He put those back on and I had him wash off and put my sweatshirt jacket on and zipped him up. Poor thing! He had such a rough day. He slept all the way home on the bus. I went to walmart and got the liquid bandage stuff and this morning it was scabbing over. Yay. I think he would have probably needed stitches if I would have taken him to the doctor.
And that was our wonderful trip to Bells Amusement Park. Oh ya, the Bells people gave us 3 free all day ride tickets.

Finally won a little $$$

Yes, I actually won $26.98 tonite at the big fancy Buffalo. Yay! This is like the first time I have won. Maybe it is because I went by myself? and my vibes were like willing my 2cent bets of 8 lines every time to hit the bull! Krazy Farm. My new favorite game.
I passed the reading part of my big test, I had already passed the writing. Now, I just have to convince the school to let me sliiiiiiide through on my math. wish me luck! I really want to do my student teaching next fall and get this finished! I am on major burnout.
Brady has baseball practice tomorrow and his first game is on Friday. Thursday I am going to Bells amusement park in Tulsa with his 4th grade class. I am riding the bus with them so it should be lots and lots of fun! (yes, you are sensing a little sarcasm in that sentence.)
Saturday is REO Speedwagon! Ya, baby! I am so excited! "I'm gonna keep on lovin you" it is going to be so exciting. Steve is going to usher with me so we will actually get to go on a working date for about 3 hours together. And also it will be our first concert together. Pretty sad, we've been married for almost 15 years and this is our first concert.........
talk to ya later!
