Last day of work & took the test!

I'm sitting here blogging while coloring my hair. How fun! But, on the serious side, I have gotta get this gray covered up! It is very depressing, and if it doesn't cover I am going to pull it out! How my husband loves that.
Yesterday was my very last day at the Big fancy casino. It was kind of sad leaving the friends that I made, but now I can go to ladies nite and play the machines, and still see them. Oh, and I studied and studied that night for my test (about 6hours) I took it on Tuesday, I thought I was doing good but oh no, I press the button for my score and I get a dang 171 AGAIN! I was more pissed than upset. I was too mad to be upset. I needed a 172! This is the second time I missed by ONE freakin point! I called up my husband to tell him before he went to sleep for the day, (he works nights) I was so mad. I decided to go and talk to Dr. S, who is pretty much over the ed. dept to see what could be done. I am just a horrible test taker and that is all there is to it. She was in a GOOD mood thank goodness. It is always great to catch her in one of her good moods cause if you don't you shouldn't even bother setting foot in her office. She filled out a petition for the 5% window to see if the committee would let me through. PLEASE LET ME INTO THE WINDOW! PLEASE! So I wrote my plea letter stating how hard I studied and that my sister had helped me study the time before. And I missed it by 2 points and then by 1 point TWICE! And how good of a teacher I will be and yada yada.
She said they would have the meeting in August and I would find out, and if it was ok then I would still have time to enroll for my classes and everything. She seemed optimistic so maybe she will put in a good word for me.

Just getting ready to watch the start of the race and then going to work. Steve went to get us Subway to eat-----you know they have the special on the weekends. I am trying to stop drinking my caffeine, my friend Michele did it so hopefully I will be able to, but oh how I love it. I did drink a diet dr pepper yesterday but it really didn't taste that great.
Guess I need to watch the race, Tony is getting ready, he's in row 3 this race. lol I don't know what my husband thinks of me now that I am into Nascar this year. Ha!
I'm sure I will have more to talk about after my exciting Sunday nite at work. I am taking my study guides for my test to work with me, I don't care, it is tooooo boring on Sundays, I pretty much sit there doing nothing and beg for the phone to ring or someone to come over and talk to me and I need to study since I will be taking my test next week. YUK!

I was attempting to watch the "Race" Sunday, you know it just had to come on right before I had to be at work. Tony was in the lead when I left the house, and then I arrived at the big fancy casino. I walked past the bar on the way to my box with bars that I would be in for the rest of the evening. The race was on!!! Anyway Blue Oyster Cult was playing so while a lot were in there watching I mosied over to the bar and the race was over!! I asked the bartenders who won? They were like "I dunno" like I was stupid or something. Losers. LOL! ---- So, I called my 10 year old son to check yahoo sports to see, since my husband fell asleep. (probably fell asleep because Jeff was losing):) Oh ya! Tony won!! and I missed it!! Next week is my last at the big fancy casino. I need to take my test again next week for school. In fact I need to be studying. Thursday is my husbands birthday, he will be 37. He reminds me that I will always be older than him. haha

Yes, I'm alive!!

I am back! Our computer has had a virus for the last, what 5-6 days? I only had like a thousand emails. yuck! Now, $140 bucks later we have a computer again! Just a warning-- don't let your antivirus run out! It is cheaper to renew it than getting rid of a virus!!
Since posting last I had a birthday on July 8. I turned the big "39" which is the precedent to next years big day. ewww!
I found out that our cousin that lives in Kansas City and has a son that races and a husband that used to race(nascar) knows my sweet little Tony! Oh how I would love to ride around the track with him! LOL Yes, and you have very good taste too Irish Divinity!!!
I have been working a lot of hours at the big fancy casino. One good thing about this coming Sunday is that Blue Oyster Cult will be there to keep me awake, I hate working there on Sunday evenings!!!
I've missed reading everyones blogs and I am glad to be back!!

Oh ya! Tony won!!

Just had to post again, the race just finished and my Tony won! Oh Ya!!!
Second race in a row, although I had to miss last weeks because I was working. I wasn't going to miss this one though!!

Yes I am watching Nascar, never thought I would be doing this. Steve's at work so I watching it by myself.
My husband is a Jeff Gordon fan so things get pretty funny around here on race day. Especially the day Tony ACCIDENTLY knocked Jeff out. I told him it was an ACCIDENT and Tony didn't mean to do it. LOL! :)

Calling everyone in the four state area!!-at the big fancy casino---Rascal Flatts tickets, with Keith Anderson and Blake Shelton are going on sale on July8 at noon. For a limited time from July 8-10 they will be $38, after that they will be $43. It is an outside concert-please byoc (bring your own chair) as there will be no-where for YOU to SIT if you don't. :)
Letting you all have this info so you won't have to call me this week along with the other bazillion trillion calls we have been getting. Thank you for your cooperation. :)LOL
