This has not been a great 2 days. My inlaws (Steve's parents) live in Slidell, which is right across the bridge East from New Orleans. They left their house yesterday to go to Mobile to be with his other relatives. They are still in Mobile, but have no idea what condition their house is in, imagine a beautiful home with tons of collectibles and things that have been kept for years and years from Germany and all over the world. We are just hoping it isn't too bad, which we pretty much know it is probably flooded or tons of wind damage. They had up to 150 mph winds today. Mobile has had no electricity and may not have any for 3-4 weeks. I feel so bad for his family. I'm glad everyone is doing ok, just praying that their house isn't totally ruined. This is where we went on vacation the first week of August. If ya can, say a little prayer for his family! Thanks!

Sorry to hear about Steve's family. I'm glad everyone's okay, but it has to be tough to know they may not be going home to much.

They are showing Slidell on TV this morning (CNN) and its not pretty.
I am going to do some taping for them today, they have no idea whats being shown, they can't watch tv or anything. I am for sure they got tons of water damage. They won't have electricity for about 3 months.
