Hello!

This time change is royally screwing me up. I don't ever wanna go to sleep.

New exciting things:

*My inlaws have moved to town last, last Friday on the 31st. They are still unpacking some, but for the most part their house looks great! Whats sad is we've lived here over 2yrs and we're still not fully unpacked.

*Brady has started baseball practice. Yay! I love baseball, I love his coach and team that he is on.

*I will hopefully have a job for next year. I will let you all know about it, that is if I get it. :)
HOPEFULLY!!!

*We are talking about maybe fostering to adopt.

*We had our school carnival on the 31st of March. We (PTO) worked so hard on this carnival and I think it went very well. We made a very LARGE amount of money for our school, the most that has ever been made on a school carnival there.

*Trey Treys stone was put into the ground. I will post a pic soon. It looks so pretty! And we decorated it for Easter.

Thats about it for now. I am monitoring a class at school tomorrow for testing, so got to get ready for bed in a while.

It's great to see a list of such good things for you.

Oh yeah, we were at the one by walmart too. We were sitting on the opposite side from the register I was at the table with that really tall guy and a whole lot of people.

Were you with the B's? I thought I saw a baby over there. We were probably two tables from you toward the front windows and one over, we had around 9 people.
That is strange that we've never met, I haven't met MrsCoach either. I've known Diva since she is cousins w/my sisters husband. And I met April at the fair. WEIRD!
I will have to pay more attention next time!! LOL

I was with the Johnsons and the Pattersons. Kael and I were at the end by the buffet. Yeah, it is weird we haven't met! And I'm oblivious usually I have to be flagged down or slapped before I realize there's someone I know right there!! lol

Fostering to adopt is a wonderful idea! That IS the way I am able to be a Mommy, after all. Though we got into it because these kids are blood-related, there are many kids out there that need permanent homes.

Call your local DHS office and see what you need to do to get started as a foster parent. It is a lot of work, and it's invasive...what with your home being evaluated and whatnot. And you may have to take older children, not necessarily babies at first...though I do think they ask you what ages you would prefer.

The best part of it, besides being something positive in a child's life, is that when you do decide to adopt one of them, it won't cost you a thing! DHS pays for it...we wouldn't be able to otherwise, since adoption is so freakin' expensive.

Good luck, whatever you decide to do! Email me anytime if you want to ask questions or just talk, okay?

Divinity-- I saw you all then, I remember a baby being at the very end of the table by the buffet over by the chicken teriyaki :). I need to start paying more attention though. There were so many people there that afternoon I am surprised I even noticed anyone.

KBear--I didn't even know that you didn't have to pay to adopt if you fostered. That is good!! There is an older woman at the bowling center that is fostering a little boy (almost 1yr I think) she has had him for quite awhile, and someone was going to adopt him but she wants to and he is so attached to her. She is fostering another baby right now that is a 2mo old preemie. I think that one will be going back to his parents though. I need to get my house straightened up because I know they will be checking. I want to be prepared for everything. I may have to call you when we get all straightened up later. I am trying to get a job right now for next year. Do they say anything if you foster and work at the same time or does it matter? I really want to do this. Talk to you soon!!! Thanks!

Well, I don't work, and DHS kinda prefers that right now. Luckily MrKB makes enough money that I don't HAVE to work, but things still get pretty tight sometimes. He's been hinting lately about me going back to work! LOL

You would get foster care payments too, but they don't start until after you finish your first 27 hours of training (I think it's 27 hours anyway). The first few months it was hard on us, since we went from living on the truck to getting a 3 bedroom apt. and furniture and all that. We pay our rent with the foster care payments.

It's soooo worth it though! My email's in my profile, I'll answer any questions I can. Big hugs! :)
