A little bit of everything

I will start things off that Steve's aunt and uncle finally got electricity yesterday. They live in Mobile, AL. My father in law talked to one of their neighbors in Slidell, LA to see how their neighborhood looked. She told him that their house was still standing and looked ok, but that she had water damage in her house. We are still not sure how their house really is, but hopefully there wasn't too much damage. I'm thinking they may have went to see today. Thanks Courtney for asking about them!!
I hope everything is ok! This whole situation is so sad, I feel so bad for all of the kids and elderly that were starving and thirsty in New Orleans, waiting to be picked up. My casino is ruined that I won my money in, in August! It was a beautiful casino. We have spent so much time in Gulfport, Biloxi, Bay St. Louis and New Orleans it is really sad for me to try to realize all of this happening, we were just there 4 weeks ago!!

Congratulations on your new car Courtney!! I was wanting an SUV or a van but now I guess I need a big "small" car that gets good gas mileage! And holds a kid, baby, big dog and me and a husband.

I went to the doctor today. For all of you that haven't read my blog a couple of days ago,---yes, I am pregnant!!! I know I am old, don't remind me!! Anyway we had a scare on the 22nd(Mon.) I went in and they couldn't find the baby on the ultrasound. They saw a sac but no baby. She had me take a bloodtest, then come back on the 24th(Wed) for another test to check my levels. She then said she thought I had a blighted ovum, which means there is a sac but no baby had formed. They scheduled me for a d&c for the next morning. She had me come back that Wed. evening to X-ray to have another vaginal u.s. done to make sure. So me and the X-ray guy are looking around in there (ok, no jokes!!:) and we saw what they said was the sac, and he scanned down and he said, "There's your baby! Moving around and everything. I about flew off the table and gave him a big hug! LOL Anyway, no I didn't fly off the table, but he made my night!!!!!!!!! Things have been going good ever since-needless to say I didn't set foot in that hospital the next day!! My blood pressure has been high and I am taking medicine, but I am feeling really good. Just praying a lot that this pregnancy will be good and to term!

HOW SCARY!!! So what did she see if it wasn't a sac???

Oh I'm so glad that baby is okay and moving and kicking and craving pickles and ice cream and salsa at 3am and beef jerky and stuff. Okay, so maybe you and the baby aren't craving those things, but I could sure go for some beef jerky right about now!

((hugs)) I'm so happy that things look okay and you are all in my prayers!

Oh, what kind of car do you want?

Diva- I have no idea what they were seeing. Anyway I saw the baby plain as day. I have been craving chinese, peanut butter & jelly, and plums. Weird!! Chinese sounds really good right now, but I had to have a turkey and cheese sandwich.
April-I probably won't get any car until I get out of school. Which isn't looking like any time soon. :) Hope I make a "B" in this college algebra class!!
I wanted a van, because they have more room than SUV's but if I did have the money for an SUV, and didn't care about the gas mileage I would want a Tahoe!!!

Shannon, if you get a craving for Chinese and need a partner to go with CALL ME!! I have had a hankering for it for weeks now and NO ONE in my family likes it!!

When I was pregnant with Ab I was so sick all the time but the one thing I craved constantly and never threw up was mustard, dill pickle and American cheese sandwiches. I also craved foot long cheese coneys from Sonic, but I threw those up a few times. I didn't crave anything in particular with the other two. Weird huh.
