I'll finally have something to blog about again. Our new neighbors. How wonderful..... We have had a lot of different neighbors in that house. The first two were renters, the first renters were normal, the second renters were a bunch of kids that I finally noticed were selling drugs out of their house. They made it very obvious with cars stopping right in front of our house all times of the day going in and out of the house. I called the police to let them know, because there are kids in our neighborhood and I didn't want it going on right in front of my house. I don't know if they ever got caught but it was very obvious and I didn't want it happening especially with all the kids around. Plus it is a block from the school. They moved.
Our other neighbors next to them were micronesian. From the micro islands. The first day they moved in they got drunk in their backyard and one of the men went over by the side of their house in front, trying not to fall over into the little fence next door and peed right out in broad daylight. I had to call my husband over to the door to make sure I was seeing everything right. Yep, I was.
And what did I do??? Call the cops. I explained we had new neighbors and I didn't think they should be peeing in daylight where kids can see and everyone driving down our busy street can see. The police came out and went to try to find him. They have since moved.
Your probably thinking, What kind of neighborhood do they live in??? It is a good neighborhood, we live on the corner and there's a church right across the corner from us.
And yes those were the only times I have called the police.. ....................so far :)
This makes me sound like that nosey neighbor on "Bewitched", but no, I am not constantly looking out the windows. LOL
I see all of this because we have these humungoid windows in our house. There is one right in front of where our computer desk is, so if anyone is on the computer you see everything going on, there is one in our kitchen so you can see everything there too. It isn't like I sit and purposely watch everything.
Our newest neighbors, haven't figured out who actually lives there yet. There has been a girl with a baby and little boy and she constantly screams at him. I don't think she knows how to talk in a regular tone of voice. Poor kids!! It is sad how some poeple can't have children and others can have a lot and then treat them like crap screaming and yelling at them. Makes me very upset.
These neighbors are going to be sitting on their front porch all summer long I can tell. Oh yay! I'm sorry but it is one of my pet peeves. Why can't people sit on their back porches?? But then I wouldn't have anything to blog about, huh?

My post disappeared
I was posting last night and went to edit something and half my post was gone!!! I finally gave up.
We had an eventful Sunday. We joined the church! Yay! My dad got rebaptized and our son Brady got baptized! It was a very good day.
We went to eat chinese after church and saw Redneck Diva's mom! It was her birthday on Saturday and I am still waiting to hear about the all night casino birthday run. Yesterday Diva's mom said that the Diva was probably still asleep because it was a very late night. Come on Kristin, we want to hear about it! Blog, Blog!!!
I need to paint today. Steve was snoring so bad last night I didn't think I was ever going to get to sleep. I was trying to get to sleep early so I would have a little energy for today, but the last time I looked at the clock it was 11:30!
I need to paint, the faster I get the rooms done, the faster we can adopt. My clock is ticking!!! I really need to get it done. I want everything out of that room though so it will be easier.
Here's a tip: Don't ever use Pledge on your wood chairs and then stand on them with your socks on--Alyssa did it and slipped and fell into a box of Christmas decorations. I wish I could have been a fly on that wall!! :) Yes, she is ok!
Probably write more later-not much has happened at 8:00 in the morning.

I am so bored!
ohmyGosh! I am so bored I can't stand it! I want my Lifetime channel back! NOW! I don't have to go to bed right now, cause I have no job to go to! I ain't got no job! Ok, had to say that. LOL, NO, I am not a hick, just trying to humor myself.
I guess I am just in the mood to watch a really smutty movie about a wife trying to murder her husband because he just cheated on her with her best friends exsisterinlaw and stole her sons car. Ha
Ok, so I guess I will watch Ellen on Oxygen. Paula Abdul is on right now. Ya, I watched American Idol tonite. We are Idol junkies. Simon cracks me up! He's so mean. Ok, that was fun.
I didn't go to my AWS meeting tonite. Guess I didn't feel like talking to anyone about anything this evening. I don't know. I slept like crap last night, I kept thinking about everything I need to do, and whether to go back to school, find a job, I want to adopt (but when?) I need to get our house ready for home study and apply for adopting, so much to do, I suck right now and need to get my act together!!!! So I get up and take a nap, Steve had a meeting to go to then we took Brady to lunch, went to Commerce to visit my uncle---he's the principal at the high school there and my cousin (his daughter) had her baby Dec 14 (after Trey) and I had a baby gift to get to her before she outgrows it. We then went by to visit Trey.
Thats all for today. Hope something exciting happens tomorrow.

Nothing exciting
I haven't really done anything too exciting lately. We went to Brady's Rise and Shine 5th grade class presentation this morning. They did very good. Steve and I went out to eat breakfast, then I went to my PTO meeting at noon(officer meeting) we have another one on Thursday on game night at Nichols. We are having our carnival in the spring this year, instead of around halloween like we usually do. Then we always have book fair at that time and book fair in the spring. I have an AWS meeting tomorrow evening.
I have been so tired lately! Our electricity went off last night around 4am. Steve and I both woke up at the same time, I guess because the fan went off, then I stumbled around the house until I found the flashlight and lit a candle in the kitchen so at least we could see. It finally came back on around 5am. We had set our cell phone alarms just in case. And of course I couldn't go back to sleep. I have to have noise when I sleep, I can't stand for it to be quiet. The fan came back on and I went back to sleep.
I hope everyone is having fun at ladies night at the big fancy casino. I don't get to go anymore. Steve started bowling on Monday nights while I was on bedrest, so I guess no more ladies nite for me until bowling is over. :(
That is all the exciting news from me.
check out mamakbears exciting news!!!!!

Oh my wonderful BP
As I said in another post, I started my new blood pressure medicine last Saturday. I had the worst headache and felt weird but I thought I was getting sick along with everyone else. Sunday my hands were swelling a little-still had the headache and that night. Monday-light headed, etc. (still thought I was catching something) Tues-felt better, Wed-felt swollen and puffy, face felt puffy, lips felt swollen and puffy. I looked online at my bp medicine. It said "Do not take if you are allergic to sulfa drugs". I am allergic to sulfa. Wonderful! It also said if your lips start swelling and face, etc contact your doctor immediately an allergic reaction could be fatal. Here I am thinking, Oh great I am about to die. I didn't call the dr. immediately. (I have had enough of hospitals lately and knew they would just stick an IV in my arm). I drove to moms to see if I could check my bp to see if I was dying or not. They weren't home and were not answering their cell phones either. Couldn't find their bp checking machine. I called my Dr. and told her I didn't think my medicine was working very well. She called in another one. I drove to Walmart to check my bp and it was borderline. Thats good for me. I walked around, picked out a paint color for my kitchen cabinets. I started losing my puffiness and I went to pick Brady up from school..
My newest (third) bp medicine has given me a headache. I want my first one back, at least I felt normal and not with my head pounding.
My friend Cheryn called me tonite! I haven't heard from her in ages!! Yay! We went to college together-she is a teacher, which I would be now if I would have stayed in school with her.
My friend Michele called me last night. We talk quite often. She lives in Wisconsin.
I am going to go try to do my Turbo Jam workout tape. My head is hurting but Brady and I ate Pizza Inn buffet tonite and I really need to get back into some of my other clothes.

I want my "Lifetime" channel back!!
Warning: This post contains a lot of griping!!
OMGosh, we switch to Dish because we can't get the channel that our shows are on because of Cableone. Now we have no Lifetime channel or LMN channel---My FAVORITE channel. I had faith that Dish would get it worked out, but now we have We and some other channel. Makes me very mad. Now there's really nothing to watch late at night while Steve's at work. Lifetime was my getawayfromitall. It's so nice sometimes just to sit and watch something that you enjoy. This We channel keeps showing the same eating disorder thing and cosmetic surgery thing over and over. I have seen it!! Don't really care to see it again! Thanks!
Ok, now that I got my griping out.
Brady had a basketball game tonight. They won, and also won their game last night too! Brady made a basket tonight and also one last night!! YEA!

Weather!!!
I wish the weather would make up its mind what it is going to do! Steve is sick, my moms been sick with coughing-sneezing-headaches! I have a headache today and I can feel it comin on! Yuck!
My doctor changed my blood pressure medicine, since the kind I was on was safe while I was pregnant, but she thought I should change since my bp was a wonderful 15o/102 on Friday. The new medicine is a little tiny pill but when I take it after awhile I can taste it in my throat like an aspirin thats trying to melt. I drank a lot of juice and water but its still there gagging me. This is my second day to take it, maybe I just have to get used to it??? I liked my other med better.
We went to church this morning! I absolutely love this church! I actually enjoy and look forward to going every Sunday----------but before I guess I would think I had to go to church, now I want to go! Makes me feel a lot better. The pastor is the one that spoke at Trey's service.
Thats all for now, gotta take out the dog. She's barking right in my face very loudly telling me she either has to go out to go potty or she wants me to get off my fat butt to take her out so she can go walk around the yard and look up at the sky or look at the imaginary bunnies running by. Thats a great pyr for ya!! I sooooo can't wait to get our fence!!!

Man I'm getting old!
or I am just losing my mind! I can't stand it when I see someone I know, but can't for the life of me remember where from or who they are!! I saw a girl at Best Buy today and we said hi to eachother, then I kept thinking--Did I work with her? at Old Navy? Factory Card Outlet? Do I know her from Miami? Joplin? Pittsburg? Webb City? Did I go to school with her at PSU, NEO and if so what class??? I finally after an hour while driving home I figured out she was in my project group in Educational Psychology at PSU!!! Yea!-------------but I still can't remember her name. Sad, huh?
Brady and I went and saw "Hoodwinked" today. He has been wanting to see it, since he knew it opened on his birthday. I thought it was really good. The first movie in awhile that I haven't fallen asleep watching.
My mom told me today that Tony Stewart was in Tulsa this week!!!! He was racing midget cars and he wrecked. I wish I would have known and I could have driven up there!!! We drove by expo square everyday when Trey was in the hospital.
Tony is ok though I think he only hurt his arm.
Brady bowled league this morning, we went to Petsmart to look at the dogs and then to the movie, to Target, to Hardees and to home. That is all for today. Got to get to bed so I can get up for church tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Birthday Brady!
My Friday the 13th Baby!!! Today is Brady's 11th Birthday. We aren't doing much tonite, but on Sunday night we are having a family bowling party which should be fun and exciting! Last time I saw my mom bowl her fake fingernail flew down the lane with her ball and into the gutter. LOL Never a dull moment in our family!! Ha Ha
Brady took a cookie cake to school today to celebrate with his classmates and teachers (I was hoping he would have at least a little left so I could have a bite, but it was gone). We got a McDonalds cake tonite for us, and Sunday he will have a wonderful Jeff Gordon cake from Walmart. (I couldn't talk him into Tony Stewart). I guess that will have to be mine.
I went to the doctor today for my 6wk check up. I am doing good, everything is back into place. Just my head is screwed up. :(
She prescribed some antidepressants for me that I hope will start working very soon!! My doctor is great!!
Happy Friday the 13th!!! Brady and I are going to go watch the rest of Friday the 13th VII The new blood. and then watch Lemony Snicket!

stuff
I can't think of a title! owell.
****************************************
Brady has been keeping us busy with all of his basketball games ! They won last night and lost Monday night. They are now 2-1. He didn't play basketball last year, but did the two yrs before that, which his dad and I coached. I am here to say I am so glad not to be coaching this year. Brady is doing very well, he scored a basket last night and scored three last week. He is a very good guard too! Their games are very exciting, never a dull moment. For awhile on Mon night I thought they were playing some football. The refs weren't calling fouls on anyone. UM, HELLO, do we have to do some tackling down court for you all to call a foul????
***************************************
Steve and I went to Walmart yesterday to take some things back and get some flowers for Trey. We went out to the cemetery to decorate and then it started snowing the most beautiful, big, fluffy snowflakes!! It was beautiful out there!! :)
***************************************
My inlaws are moving to Miami!! They should be here at least by April or May. I warned them about the wonderful weather we have. Oklahoma weather--just gotta love it. It was snowing yesterday, today it is in the 50's and tomorrows high of 67?? Then back to 52 on Friday? I get along well with my inlaws so it should be great for Brady to have some more grandparents here to watch his basketball and baseball games, and help spoil him rotten.
***************************************
Friday is Brady's 11th birthday!! He was born on Friday the 13th of January so he is very excited about this birthday since it will be on Friday this year!! He wants to rent a Fri 13th movie to celebrate. We are having a family bowling night on Sunday evening to celebrate his birthday.
I need to go get busy cleaning and Steve and I will be moving furniture this evening. I will be painting his new room tonite or tomorrow night, carpet cleaning and getting his room ready. We are still moving rooms around.
**************************************
Guess I've yapped long enough for right now. I am going to run to taco bell and get back and start cleaning!! (while I am in the mood) doesn't last long so I have to take advantage of it when the time comes. :)

The shooting star
A very strange thing happened last night around 1:30 am. I took the dog out and was thinking of Trey and looked up into the sky at all the stars and right after a shooting star went by. This really brought me at ease, like there was some kind of sign that everythings alright. I know, I know, I'm strange. But it really made my night.

Thanks everyone
Thanks you all for all of your prayers and continued ones for our family. I thought this would start getting easier, but lately it is very hard. I am ok when I am around family-talking and everything, but at home I am usually a mess. I feel like my heart has been yanked out and stomped on repeatedly. I just don't understand. I am going to vent so bare with me........ I am 39 yrs old, why give me a baby and then take him away right after??? I have already had two miscarriages before Trey. WHY? The book I am reading, "When GOD doesn't make sense" by James Dobson, says there are a lot of things we will not know the meaning of until later on. I know everything is supposed to happen for a reason, but I didn't want my baby to leave us. ~ Am I being selfish? Ya, I guess so. ~ I am a Christian and I am trying to understand all of this, but believe me it is so hard.
I am going to leave it at this for now. We had decided to adopt before I got pregnant with Trey. We still plan on doing this sometime soon.
Thanks you guys! I appreciate everything!!!

Trey
Thought I would let you all know that Trey didn't make it. He caught another virus that was resistant to antibiotics (a teenager died from this same thing at St. Johns in Tulsa). On Dec. 28 they put him in isolation and his blood pressure went down and they couldn't get it to come back up. He passed away with me and my mom by his side at 8:30 pm. He was a fighter--he fought hard the whole entire time he was in the hospital, he was a very tough little boy. This has been very hard for us, but I know in time it will get a little easier although never forgotten. I don't think there will ever be a harder time than losing your own child. I want to thank everyone that prayed for Trey and our family.. We can still use prayers to get through this. THANKS!!

Update on Trey
Trey is still at Hillcrest at the NICU-recently he caught an infection and had to be put on the ventilator until he gets better. Worries me to death, but the doctors and nurses don't seem to be alarmed or anything, I guess it is all pretty normal. He had to have 2 blood transfusions on Sunday to get his red blood ct up. He has been on antibiotics to fight the infection he has had. Hopefully he will start feeling better soon. We will be staying at the Ronald McDonald house over Christmas, and Steve's parents are coming up from Louisiana to see Trey and spend Christmas with us.
If you can say a little prayer for Trey---it will be greatly appreciated!!! I will post some more pics when I can. Our computer is still down so I am using my moms.
Let you all know more soon.

We received an early Christmas Present!!!
Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We received an early, wonderful present this year!! I went to Walmart on Monday (5th) and rode the scooter thing around. April--I think I saw you there but you had already walked by and away before I knew for sure if it was you or not. ANYWAY, Tuesday (6th) morning I woke up at 4:30am and my water broke. I ran to the bathroom, woke Steve up and told him. We woke Brady and rushed to the hospital because if I went into labor with the cerclage in Trey wouldn't have any way to get out and it would not have been a good thing. My doctor came to the hospital and did an ultrasound and noticed one of Trey's feet down by my cervix which she had to keep checking to make sure he wasn't actually kicking out. I didn't really have any cervix left- just where the stitches were. They life flighted me to Tulsa Hillcrest again in the helicopter and took me straight to the OR and did another U/S and then did my c-section. Trey was born before my mom, sister, Steve and Brady could get there. He was at almost 28 weeks, he weighed 2lbs 12oz (almost 3lbs) and is 15.5 in long. He's in the neonatal icu unit right now at Hillcrest. He's doing very good, he's only on a c-pap machine to make sure he remembers to breathe and has a pic line so he can take his meds. He has a small heart murmur which they said is common with preemies but they have given him some medicine to close the valve. I was discharged from the hospital yesterday afternoon, and we went today to bring him some milk (I'm pumping) and we took some pics while he had his c-pap off his face.
Anyway he is doing very good and thought I would let everyone know!! :) Say a little prayer for him if you will. Thanks!!! I'll keep everyone updated on news..

On a brighter note
On a much brighter, HOTTER note. I watched the Nascar cup awards last night and Tony won a total of $$$ 13, 578, 168 for the year. Not too shabby, huh? Yes that was in millions. He has won a total of 48.4 million in his cup career.
Yay Tony. There's a contest where you can meet him and guess when it is?? The last week of Feb. the 26th.. My due date week. My luck I would go into labor after just meeting him. LOL Owell owell.... I'm sure he will soon be named one of the most eligible bachelors. Just had to end my night on a good note.

Missing the Christmas parade
Well, I was in charge of our AWS part in the Christmas parade last year. This year they are using the banners I made last year plus I made 4 posters for it. I am very bummed and can't be a part of it this year. Next year Brady and I can do it again though. There's no way Brady could walk Shae down main street. Would not be a good thing. Anyway I drove down to see how the decorating was going on the truck. I wanted to at least go to it, but I don't know where I would sit and can't walk far. fun fun. Guess I can look forward to next year! and we'll have baby next year!! Just had to vent a little. I'm getting very sick of staying at home not doing anything......

One big gripe!
My son has a new teacher that replaced his former one-that we miss terribly!! His former teacher left to persue a new job. His new teacher has assigned so much homework it is unreal. Like I want to spend over an hour at night some nights just trying to help him with his homework. (AND I AM GOING TO SCHOOL TO TEACH!) Anyway today he brings Math homework home--and y'all know how much I LOVE math. OMGosh. He has no clue how to do it. I asked Brady, "Did she explain any of this to your class?" He says, "No" "She told us to look over the pages and do the problems and if we have questions she will help us." So now I am getting really upset. Are we expected to teach the lessons to our kids at home? He told me last week he had a question and she never even got over to him to answer it. How are they supposed to learn? He has been so positive in school until now. He acts like he doesn't care as much as he used to. And he's a straight A student!! I guess I will have to work extra hard with him this year and make sure he gets everything done and turned in. AAAHHH!!!!!
Like I have anything else to do on bedrest or should I say house arrest.
Courtney-hope your doggie is doing better!!

Stuff
Well we had our Animal Welfare Society meeting Tues night. I stepped down as president and now we have a spunky new one. Hope everything works out ok, there have already been disagreements at the meeting and that was only 5 min as her being pres. Oboy!! I just don't have time to do it all right now. We have the baby coming and I am still on the board for AWS.
I am also still PTO sec. for this year. Brady will be in the BIG WRMS middle school next year. I still think WRJH looks better than WRMS--reminds me of worms. uck. This is my last year of PTO officer duty. My last year of home room mom. It is very sad, my little boy is growing up!! .......... Until Trey gets in school..........and I get to relive it all over again! Yay!!
Got to go get ready for Thanksgiving at my parents house, then off to Quapaw to my grandparents house. I kinda wish they weren't on the same day it would be so much easier for me. Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving!!!
